Scalp protection function
The Time of Flight Sensor automatically adjusts the temperature to enhance your hair’s natural shine and help protect your scalp.
Component recognition function
The accessory recognition sensor (Hall Sensor) automatically recognizes each accessory as you use it and automatically adapts to your styling preferences.2
The motion detection sensor (Accelerometer) recognizes when the hair dryer is placed down.
Smart styling accessories have preset airflow and temperature settings – adjusted by you and remembered by the device.2

The new diffuser diffuses airflow in two different ways, with less frizz. Remove the pin insert to activate the Dome mode, or add it for the traditional Diffuser mode, depending on the styling you want and your hair type.

The special capsule changes color, from cool blue to bright red, to indicate the current heat setting.
